Day 9

I mean come on..this is too easy.  The clue:  LeBron rolls with a tight knit crew of Akronites that's not only there for emotional support, but to assist him in overseeing his business interests.  The Four Horsemen are rep'd by this gamepiece.

As you will see the memento is smack dab in front of your face when you enter the home.  That's all I can really say about this one.

Day 9:  lame

Um... I guess I'm not very bright because I can't see it.  It might be an ace in the hole for you, but I'm having issues.  A little help please?  Thanks!

I rescind my comment - I found it.  I switched browsers (going from Firefox to IE) and saw it.  I don't know why it happened like this.  Silly stuff.

Anyway, the chessboard is on the dining room table.  That's the memento.

Yea..i have also had trouble viewing this contest in firefox.  i actually got in last night through firefox at 7pm est and didnt see the memento.  once i logged in through IE it was right there on the table.  i would recommend just playing it safe with IE going forward as much as I hate it.

So I watched the Game last night, and here are my thoughts.

- The first quarter the Cavs played sluggish.  They gave up 29 points to a weak offensive team.  I don't know why we start slow in a lot of games, but it seems that the energy is lacking.  I think that this is a difference between a title team like San Antonio and us: they always bring the intensity.  We cannot start slow - even against a poor team - or it lets them think they are in the ballgame (ie, Atlanta).

- The second quarter we started to warm, especially offensively, especially late in the quarter.  We moved the ball well and got everyone involved.  I think I the offensive end we are starting to get back into our early season rythym.

- We outscoted the Jazz 60-30 in the second and third quarters.  There was some good defense going on too.  I think the energy infused by Ira Newble was key, and with him, Hughes, and the King on the Court, I think we can stop teams.  Wait till the Wild Thing comes back too- we will be have an awesome defensive squad, if needed.

- In the fourth, the announcers were talking about anything but the game.  I was impressed by Luke Jackson too.  The kid played well- shooting, passing, defending.   A little confidence goes a long way.

Two big games coming up against Central opponets this week.  These are games that are so crucial when every team in your division is over .500.

PS- about the 4 Horsemen- I went to high school with Randy Mims.  Decent fellow.  Was a decent ball player till he broke his leg and got slightly rotund.  Then my slow ass could beat him down the court.
