Huge..
So is it the tights or Sasha? Either way..today was a monsterous victory on national television. The AK Assassin was simply LeAmazing and it just seems like he always knows when he must take over. Between his fade away shots from the corner, the block then dunk at the other end to his constantly improving long-range shooting ability...the guy is nuts. Thank goodness he plays for us.
In today's game, the first half was rough. I mean we were playing pretty decent offense, but our defense could not keep up with them. They were too fast and shooting too well. But with some halftime adjustments we were able to pull it off. We played as a team and brought this one home. Personally, that was one of the better games I witnessed all year. And Sasha..well good job buddy. Overall, you played pretty solid ball and you were well deserving of the standing O as you left the game in the final (dragged out) secs. I think we found our starting 2 guard (for now). Donyell and Amon still couldn't find there shots, but at least Jerry Walton told the national public how both have had disapointing seasons. Hopefully, Momma Jones listened in and is gonna have another talk with her son.
Oh and one more thing. Brent Musburger..come on man. Get off the mic as you have no place announcing NBA basketball. First, your comment the other night about how LeBron should be taking the final free throws over Z cause of how much the Cavs organization pay him. You showed the world right there how little you know. Today you were ok, but you had Snapper and Jerry backing you up. Anyways..just go home.
So once again..Sasha or the tights?
Ya know - who cares..let's just keep winning.

The crowd was amazing at the "Q" today! Well done, in a packed house.
The first ever site of the new nickname took place today as well. Fellow LeBlogger, Akronite, and coincidentally my brother, was in full show with the sign "The Akron Assassin." Nows it must catch on.
Sasha, your surprising me man and I love it!
Great W yesterday. I had a couple friends over and we had a blast. Sasha has played well and taken a lot of minutes. I hope this leads to even better numbers and confidence for him. dAmon Ones (he's played decent D lately, but still no 3 pt. J) played well on Nash and he denied the ball well. He missed too many open 3's though. How nice is it to have Wild Things back and hustling all over the place. He was huge. I know it's not a big deal for NBA ballers to dunk, but did anybody watch Ira Newbles thrunderdunk early in the game. I had to jump out of my seat. I never saw Ira get up like that so quickly. Those of you who watch the Cavs and the Akron Assassin regularly, Ira barely gets above the rim and doesn't ususally rise above the defense. I knew our team came to play when he dunked like that. It was a great game. Just like the Indy and ATL games last week, a big win over the Suns won't mean much if we don't take care of business against another injury plagued team in the Bobcats. Go Cavs... 6 in a row baby!
Tonight, to me, is a must win for the Cavs. We are in the second of four games in the dreaded 4 games in 5 days- that is two back to backs, with a day off in between. The next two are at home versus a Nets team which gives us trouble, and on the road to the Heat. I doubt we beat the Heat based upon the brutal schedulel alone. I think we can beat the Nets, but its not a gimmee. But tonight we play a Bobcats team that is undermanned and generally stinks. I just saw them play the Wiz and they are STARTING Matt Carroll- the white guy from St. Joe's last year. Their best player right now is Primo Brezec. A win tonight makes us a respectable (at worst) 2-2 in this stretch. A big win would let us rest the AK Assasin and Z and allow these two to get geared up for a big game against the Nets.
I agree. This is a huge stretch, but we actually have 5 games in 7 days. That is tough.
