Here we go..the first ever LeBlog contest.  Are you ready?

Ok here is the deal.   All I am looking for here is a new nickname for the King.  Yes, I know he has tons, but it’s time for us to make one of our own. 

You might be asking why should I put any thought towards a new nickname for The Chosen One?  

First, sugknight114 was able to pick up an extra promotional item from a recent Cavs game and is offering it up to the winner.   On top of that, I will be throwing in piece of LeBron memorabilia as well. 

Secondly, the nickname you choose will eventually spread across the US.  Laugh all you will, but those from Akron know another stupid idea we thought of has pretty much gone country wide.  How will this happen?  Sugknight114 will be playing his part by having people make signs at Cavs home games showcasing this new nickname.  Additionally, I will use this nickname often on LeBlog and begin to spread this to other blogs.  Trust me..I am annoying and very persistent so word will get around. 

Here is your chance to create a nickname for potentially the greatest player in NBA history.  Tell your friends, family, co-workers..whoever.  The contest ends after the Cavs vs. Portland game on Sunday the 15th (so you basically have a week).   Please leave your nickname suggestion in the comment field or email your nickname to burgoon@gmail.com if you'd like.  In a week, I will discuss the new nickname with sugknight114 and choose the winner.

UPDATE:  Feel free to leave the nickname suggestions in the comment field.  I have received some great nicknames by email and I think this could be more fun if everyone can see (seriously, some of these nicknames have been spectacular).
