Le King

In addition to the LeBron commercials I gathered a while back comes some more Bron Bron footage thanks to youtube.com.   Check out this page of Bron vids which includes some shoe promos, chinese commercials, and of course LeAmazing highlights.  Seriously, watch that dunk over Damon Jones again just to refresh the memory of how awesome that really was.

I mean if that's not old skool...

You know, I don't get the Eric Snow bashing here.  First, D Jones is good offensively, but the guy cannot play defense.  Eric Snow ain't that quick, but he puts a body on people and at least plays physical.  Second, D Jones aint a real PG.  That's why "And-1" (thank you, Ali G) D Wade was handling the rock in Miami.  That's also why Jones is always backing into guys- his handles aren't that good.  Third, Snow knows his role.  Make 15 footers, pass it to Bron, and play D.  Jones wants to shoot.  That's good- we are paying him to his the three.  But sometimes you need to get the ball into Z, pass it off to LBJ and LH, and just play D.  Now, would I like to get rid of Snow's contract? Sure.  But I better get a PG in return somehow (and don't give me Mike Wilks).  Personally, I think the Cavs would have been better off with Earl Watson than Jones.  I know everybody gets into this whole shooter thing, but its more important to have someone who can run the show than just some guy who is firing three balls.

The LBJ high school video is awesome... he was only 16 - 18 years old there.  He was so good and made those other kids look so small.

The Rookie tape is even better.  The best parts of it are the assists he made.  Some of those plays are so sweet.

The DJ video is just cool.  That poster would be so sweet on Dylan's bedroom wall (Jen would never allow me to hang it in our room).

It's refreshing to see Donyell send us to a second overtime... and to see the Cavs pull a big win out before they go out west.

Anyone notice that D.Jones and Snow played on the court together more than usual last night... you know why??  Because Jones couldn't guard Cassell.  Cassell got most of his looks when Jones was guarding him.

What does Snow bring to this team?  Everything that the ultimate 428er mentioned, but especially DEFENSE.  I don't remember the Miami/Detroit series last year too well, but you wonder if lack of defense at the two guard had anything to do with it.

Paul - I agree totally.

I remember that series.  Kenyon Dooling got extended PT.  Why?  Because D Jones could not guard Chanuncy (to small bulk wise) and could not guard Rip (too small height wise).  Dooling was more physical and played well enough on O to stay in the game.

Cleveland Cavaliers
LeBron: The Model NBA Image
"He not only represents the Cavaliers franchise, but the modern-day NBA, a league that wants to shed the hip-hop tag and rap-music label on its players, replacing it with a well-dressed, positive image that can lift the league to new heights. Sonics guard Ray Allen believes James has the potential to lead the league back to its heyday, but it will take considerable effort on and off the court."

We are all witnesses!!
