Time Out..

With the depressing choke of the Tribe and the gentle collapse of the Buckeyes, I am on hiatus until the start of the Cavs regular season.

Anyone else pumped about the Cavs?  I'm wondering what some other folks opinions are on Mini-Z.  I guess he's put on 20 pounds since draft day and he's been playing tough in the preseason.  A friend said he didn't like sending M to the D-league because he's not guaranteed big minutes there and he wouldn't have the chance to learn from Z and get knocked around in practice.

I don't think that M is as fragile as we all must have thought.  I think Brown can find at least 10 min/game for him, as Z should be limited to around 30 mpg if not less.  I like having M with the cavs for Z's sake, because we really don't have anyone who can match up with Z in practice.  I think Z and M can push eachother.  The same friend from above said "M is at least as good as Desagana Flop."  I have to agree.  M no doubt has the same defensive presence as Diop (any 7'2" C does).  Plus, I've read that M is unconcionable from the perimeter.  Can anyone say Dirk?  Could you imagine playing Z and M together at C and PF?  I know that that's not probable, but I'm just thinking out loud.

the tribe didnt choke, they overachieved and made a hell-of-a run and gave it their all, the sox were just a better pitching team and thats why they took the division.
