Thanks to my main man Tko9er, also known as my CLE correspondent, the scoop is that Dan Gilbert bought the rights to the name of Gund Arena and is going to change the name to Quicken Loans Arena, a.k.a. The “Q”.
It will be announced today at 3:15pm.
UPDATE: Indeed this information was correct and beat the major aggregators to the punch.
Also an update on our PG situation..apparently the Cavs met with Damon Jones yesterday and made him a significant offer. According to an article in the Miami Herald, Jones is considering the offer, but hasn't committed to either the Heat or the Cavs..

Damon Jones would be great for this team. We need a bog man now and if we can move Drew or Andy along with Snow for a back-up PG and a big, that would great. Also, Dale Davis is old and if Z goes down I wouldn't want him as my starter.
It looks like the Heat got a whole lot better. That is an amazing trade, but will be interesting in how that team shares the ball, especially in the playoffs. It looks liek Damon Jones is almost 100% out of Miami and would be a great signing for the Cavs.
